OttLite is proud to introduce our 2016 Ambassadors: Kathy Cano-Murillo, Tamara Kelly, Shannon and Jason Mullett-Bowlsby, and Ed Roth.  Each are acclaimed bloggers, authors and teachers of their craft and will be helping spread the word about OttLite around the country.  We invite you to visit each of their websites/blogs and also follow them on social media.  They’ll be the first to discuss and review new OttLite products and each will have plenty of giveaways and surprises throughout the rest of the year.  Please join us in welcoming Kathy, Tamara, Shannon, Jason and Ed to the OttLite team!

 

Kathy Cano-Murillo

Kathy Cano-Murillo is the creative energy behind Crafty Chica.  An artist and author, Kathy has been featured in USA Today, The New York Times and HGTV and has had her products featured in Target.  Her self-described “Mexi-boho” style brings fun (and some glitter!) to everything she creates. Crafty Chica is a combination of crafts, recipe ideas, empowerment and even holiday ideas – be sure to visit for some inspiring ideas and fun!

Tamara Kelly

Originally a blogger with a ‘mommy’ focus, Tamara Kelly has transformed her blog, Moogly, into one of the most popular crocheting blogs around.  A designer, writer and instructor, Tamara offers free patterns, tutorials, great giveaways and loves to share what her fellow bloggers are doing. Featuring an annual Crochet Along and "Hookin on Hump Day", which is posted every 2 weeks, Moogly has plenty for crocheters of all skill levels.  A member of the Crochet Guild of America, Tamara also won the 2013 Craftsy Award for Best Tutorials.  So if you’re into crocheting then Moogly is for you.

Shannon & Jason Mullett-Bowlsby

Photography, knitting, weaving, design.  These are just some of the many talents of the Shibaguyz.  Shannon and Jason Mullett- Bowlsby use their skills to help others discover what they love.  This is truly a team effort.  Jason is the photographer and graphic designer of the team and takes the photos for all of their books.  Shannon is a published designer and national teacher who makes sure that the garment patterns he designs is for people of all shapes and sizes. This team is one to follow if you’re interested in a variety of creative outlets.

Ed Roth

Ed Roth, creator of Stencil1, started out wanting to publish a book of stencils and in the process found a niche market.  A lover of pop culture, Ed incorporates everything including geometric patterns, landscapes and iconic figures such as the Statue of Liberty into his stencils. Stencil1’s Repeat Pattern Wallpaper Stencil Kit won the 2015 Product of the Year award from the Consumer Survey of Product Innovation which Ed says is due to the tools being easy for customers to use and are customizable for whatever taste is out there. If you’re into street art and pop culture icons, Stencil1 is a site you shouldn’t miss.
