Waste of money
This is the worst floor lamp I have ever bought at first I loved it. Then I found if you barely bump the shade or slide it to vacum the shade falls off. The cupling that hold the shade is made of cheap plastic and it will not tighten enought to keep the shade on. My bulb is now half pink. My night light in my bathroom light puts out more light then this lamp. I can't afford to go out and buy another lamp, so I'm stuck with this piece of junk. Otts lights were recommended to me from my local knitting store. Boy were they wrong with this model. I even bought an extra bulb for rplacedment that I'm stuck with. I think Otts should recall this model and fix the cupling problem or send out replacements that the shade will stay on.

Not too happy with the bright white light
I believe this lamp would be better with a softer light - also the base is great but do not like the uprights as they are not very steady

Received as a gift. Arrived with broken bulb. Uses "gourmet" bulb not readily obtainable, then expensive. Poor design for a reading light, doesn't keep light out of reader's eyes.
