Our Edison bulbs fit most standard light sockets, but use about 75% less energy and last about 10x longer than traditional incandescent bulbs! Plus, OttLite Daylight Illumination gives you true colors, clear details and reduced eyestrain and fatigue.

bright, life significantly shorter than advertised.
Gives a clear white non-glare light. The bulb I had lasted only about 1/4 as long as it should. It also had an annoying hum.

I'm in Love with a Light Bulb
I'm a little concerned that I bought a light bulb and my first order of business after trying it out was to tell everyone I knew, but this deserves to be bragged on. It saves a ton in energy costs, the light mimics sunlight astonishingly well, and the bulb can burn for hours without getting hot to the touch- a major plus for me, since my old florescent bulbs made the small rooms in my house unbearably hot. The thing I love most about it, though, is how well this and the 100-watt equivalent bulb work for indoor photography. No yellow cast, no glare. It looks like the photos were taken in natural sunlight. I'm planning to replace every bulb in my house with an OttLite bulb. I love it.
