This light goes through batteries like there was no tomorrow. There is a hole for a DC adapter, but they don't include one with the light. Too bad, because it gives a night light quality to use near the computer.

Don't buy!!
I bought this when the sale was buy one, get one. Biggest mistake I ever made! After a half dozen uses the lights went dim. I tried replacing the batteries but it didn't make a difference. As you open and shut it, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and sometimes you just get a faint light. My thought was return it but they want $9.99 to return it plus shipping and I didn't pay much more than that for the light. My advice is don't waste your money on this one, it just doesn't hold up.
