NIce light
Just bought this light. The light is great. The case is junk. It's too bad that they didn't devote a little mre effort to design a case worthy of their product. Like everyone else, I had problems opening the back to install the batteries and then the back would'nt stay closed.

Disappointing
I bought an earlier version of this light (no clip built in), and LOVE it. It's bright, durable, and the perfect size and shape to carry in a pocket, too. So I ordered one for everyone in my family for Christmas....found they're made a little differently now, and apparently not as well. The clips break easily, especially when you struggle to open the #@$% battery compartment. I did get that open on one of the lights, finally, although the instructions didn't explain it well -- but it was VERY difficult, and, like I said, the clip broke off in the process. Also, the cover of the light doesn't close properly -- it's slightly out of line, and the hinges seem cheap. One of the things I liked about my first light was being able to set it down on a flat surface while I was working, too -- but the clip on this new version is in the way. The light's a bit heavy to make a pocket clip practical, too....maybe it would work better on a belt, but the clip's not designed well for that. The light IS very bright still, which I suppose is the most important feature -- but, all in all, I'm disappointed with the quality of this product as it's being manufactured now.

Love it!
Bought one for myself, loved it so much I went back and bought 21 of them for gifts. One out of the 22 mini flip lites had a broken plastic piece at the hinge for the clip but other then that they are all fine.

Ott Lite Mini Flip Lite
The clip was broken when I opened package and the batterry compartment would not open.Can't seem to find any directions on how to open battery compartment. If there is a trick to opening it, I would like to know!!
