Nice Lighting Idea - Poor Quality Product
Not the best assembly instructions. However, I got through it and when I installed the bulb I noticed the bottom light cover clip was broken. So, while gently pulling the bulb back out (not twisting) it broke away from it's base. Returned.

Best Lamp.
I'm adding this review because I think the 1 star rate and write up in the one other customer review is ridiculous. This is the best lamp I have ever owned. My mother bought this for me during my undergrad work,6 years ago. I am in an academic field so I read several hours a day and often work late into the night. I've used this lamp constantly, for all purposes (reading, drawing, writing), the light is just better, working under this lamp it easier to read for hours, because for some reason my eyes hurt less. My lamp has never flickered, and I've never had to replace the bulb. I cannot estimate how long I've had this lamp on but easily thousands of hours. The stand is not challenging to assemble.

I hate this product. Got a year ago and the lite flickers when I switch it on. A year later now and I can not figure out how to assemble the stand since I do not use stand, only clamp method. thank you for not making it easy to figure it out. instruction should be printed on product to allow user to access it to figure out how to add stand especially since I can not access instructions and or instructions are lost or thrown away.
