Customer Service

Our Customer Service department is available Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm EST (excluding major holidays). 

Call our Customer Service Desk at 1-800-842-8848 with any questions you have or even to order bulbs and lamps. They’d be happy to help you out.  If you leave a message or submit a Customer Service Form after business hours, someone will respond to you as soon as they can on the next available business day.   Be sure to view our FAQs page as well!




Payments accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.


All orders over $50 (before taxes) receive free ground shipping to addresses within the contiguous United States*.  A flat fee of $9.95 is applied to all orders under $49.99 within the contiguous United States. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii will incur a higher delivery fee. We are sorry but due to the differences in voltage and electrical outlets, we are only able to ship to the United States. 

If you would like to ship FedEx 2nd Day or FedEx Standard Overnight, please note that most orders will be processed and shipped from our warehouse within (3) business days from the time your credit card is approved. 

*Free shipping applies only to a single “ship to” address (within the contiguous United States) and cannot be combined with other orders.  All orders are shipped via FedEx Ground, unless you request quicker service.  Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. 


Return Policy

We want you to be happy with all of your purchases and offers a 30-day trial period on lamps purchased through  If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason within 30 days of purchase, you can return your product for a full refund minus the shipping & handling.  

All returns need to be pre-approved by our Customer Service team and you will need to have a receipt for proof of purchase. 

All returns will be assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This RMA# is required for all returns to OttLite Technologies or a 25% re-stocking fee will apply. 

Merchandise must be returned undamaged or a 25% re-stocking free will apply.

Items returned after the 30-day trial are subject to the following re-stocking fees:

  • Returns 45-60 days after purchase – 25% re-stocking fee
  • Returns 61-90 day after purchase – 35% re-stocking fee
  • Returns 91-120 days after purchase – 45% re-stocking fee

OttLite tests all of our lamps numerous times to make sure that when it reaches your house it is completely ready. During the rare times you're having problems, we want make sure the warranty process is as easy as possible for you.  
Our warranty covers OttLite bulbs for 1 year from the date of purchase and OttLite lamps and accessories for 2 years from the date of purchase, with the exception for damages resulting from the use of the product for any purpose other than its intended use.
